SIGMA Pallet Management

SIGMA Pallet Management is a fully integrated add-on in SAP Business One. It creates the NVE identification and manages the corresponding article information and storage location information.

 

The NVE identification is taken into account for all goods movements, whether incoming or outgoing goods, and also for tranfers. Our fast entry templates enable a simplified entry, for example, also via barcode scanner. In addition, the add-on automatically checks the NVE for all transactions and, if necessary, generates a new one if there is no marking in the system yet.

The pallets are marked with SSCC / NVE labels according to the GS1 standard. Thanks to automatic storage allocation, the SAP Business One AddOn SIGMA Pallet Management also supports chaotic warehousing.

The management of handling units in SAP Business One enables you to implement packaging-controlled logistics, which further optimises your processes:

  • In this way, you reduce the administrative effort and also the error rate, as several packages can be moved with just one booking in the case of a handling unit.
  • Continuous tracking provides you with a better overview of the goods movements along the supply chain.
  • Generating a handling unit can be automated so that manual bookings are largely eliminated and efficiency is increased.
  • In addition, not only internal but also cross-company use is possible, for example, already when ordering from the supplier and the associated goods receipt or when delivering to the customer.

In outgoing goods, the SIGMA Digital Packing Table helps you to process picking and packing operations.

The SIGMA Digital Packing Table is suitable for both parcel and pallet shipping and allows you to record items and packing materials for a delivery. Picking for pallet dispatch can be done on the basis of handling units:

  • Scanning of the NVE code within a picking list, so that all articles on the pallet are taken over.
  • Picking of mixed pallets under a new NVE
  • Transparent tracking of which articles and quantities are on which palle
  • increased efficiency in the dispatch process

In addition to pallet management, you also benefit from all the other functions of the SIGMA Digital Packing Table, such as the shipping service provider connection.

Simply click "Send answer via email," enter your email address, and a few seconds later, the conversation with our SIGMA chatbot will be forwarded to your email address.

Use of Chatbot

(1) This website uses a chatbot developed exclusively by us. The chatbot is a software-based dialog system that enables text- or voice-based communication with a technical system.
The chatbot operates on the RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) approach, retrieving data from a database to answer questions as accurately as possible. These data, along with the user’s question, are sent to the language models of OpenAI, Inc. without transmitting any personal information about the user. The models attempt to answer the question using the provided data and return the response. The data are sourced from one of our internal databases, comprising text documents with marketing information about products and services of the SIGMA Group.

(2) The following data are processed: session ID for user requests, the time of the request, the request itself, the chatbot’s response, the topic, and the language.

(3) We process this data to analyze the productivity of our chatbot and to continuously improve it. This includes the following purposes:

  • Chatbot performance optimization: We collect and analyze interactions with the chatbot to evaluate its efficiency and performance. This includes, for example, questions the chatbot could not answer, repeated inquiries on specific topics, and similar issues.
  • Enhancing the user experience: We use data to improve the user experience. This includes analyzing user feedback to make adjustments and expansions to the chatbot to better meet your needs.
  • Error detection and resolution: The data allow us to detect errors and issues in real time, enabling faster resolution and updates to the chatbot.
  • Statistical evaluations: We generate aggregated, anonymized statistical reports on chatbot usage. These reports contain no personal information and serve to analyze trends and patterns.
