Load carrier exchange account
A load carrier exchange account records the receipts and issues of reusable load carriers such as pallets or containers between a company and its business partners. It shows the current balance, meaning how many load carriers the company has received from a partner or owes to that partner, and therefore supports the tracking of stock and returns. In IT systems, these movements are often transferred from documents such as goods receipt and goods issue and assigned to a business partner. In day-to-day operations, the account helps resolve outstanding pallet balances for each partner without delay.
