Quality Management
Quality management covers all organisational and technical measures a company uses to plan, control, document and continuously improve the quality of products and processes. This includes defined inspection and approval steps, documented deviations, clear responsibilities and key figures for assessing quality and its causes. In SIGMA projects, including production environments and regulated sectors, quality management is often linked with digitally recorded quality requirements and measured values to improve transparency and auditability and to ensure traceability down to batch traceability level. A typical use case is the automatic capture and documentation of inspection values for each production order, including a deviation workflow.
