Storage Bin Management refers to the functions used to manage and maintain storage bins within a warehouse. It includes creating, changing and blocking storage bin records, as well as the rules for putaway and stock removal. This helps improve travel paths, transparency and error rates because stock movements can be assigned clearly to a storage bin. In the warehouse, it also supports goods receipt by specifying the storage bin into which goods are put away.
