Confirmation
A confirmation is the recording of the actual progress of a transaction in the system. In SAP Business One, it is mainly used to document which quantities have been produced, which times have been incurred, or which work steps in a production order have already been completed. This makes the processing status in manufacturing transparent and helps control the next steps more effectively. Confirmations also help keep status information up to date and maintain a traceable link to the resources or transactions involved. This allows a company in day-to-day operations to recognise in good time whether an order is progressing as intended, whether quantities have been recorded correctly, and whether the next step can follow without delay.
