Digitalisation
Digitalisation refers to the transition from analogue or manual workflows to digitally supported processes and data flows. Its aim is to make information available more quickly, avoid media discontinuity and support decisions on a reliable data basis. In a business context, this often involves an ERP system as well as the automated exchange of data between applications. In SAP Business One, digitalisation becomes evident when documents are processed electronically, workflows are continued with system support and information is available without being entered again, so that a company can handle transactions more quickly, reduce sources of error and base decisions on current data.
