Go-live
Go-live is the point at which a newly introduced system is put into productive use within a company and replaces the previous way of working. From this date onward, real business transactions are recorded and processed in the new system. This normally requires completed tests, prepared users, and consistent data migration. Go-live is not merely a technical switch, but a planned transition within the implementation project, in which processes, responsibilities, and day-to-day support must be closely coordinated so that orders, postings, and reporting run reliably in the system from the first productive day.
