The software solution currently in use was no longer able to completely cover the requirements of the growing company. Therefore, the decision was made to search for a new future-proof standard solution for all company divisions. The main focus was on warehouse logistics and the mapping of the various sales channels.
The solution - SAP Business One
The decision was made in favour of SAP Business One as the ERP solution and SIGMA Software und Consulting GmbH as an experienced service partner. In addition to the ERP selection, the IT infrastructure was also put to the test. Last year, the Microsoft domain was transferred and the Microsoft Exchange groupware service was introduced. New virtualised servers from Fujitsu are being used and a modern security solution is being established with Sophos. Due to the introduction of the SAP AddOn SIGMA Mobile Lagerverwaltung ( mobile warehouse management ), an area-wide WLAN is necessary.
